About Dunstan Morey

I've been playing all kinds of guitars - electric and acoustic - professionally since 1971. I spent many years as both sideman and leader in bands of all descriptions, from classical to country, jazz to pop and playing in venues ranging from black tie dinners to northern bars, from concert halls to Peter Gzowski’s Morningside.

About 10 years ago, I committed to playing exclusively on nylon-string guitar, both the standard “classical” guitar and the more modern solid-body nylon-string model.

For the last five years, I have been the house guitarist at La Maquette restaurant in Toronto, where I appear four nights a week. In addition, I'm very active on the wedding music scene, playing both solo and in duo and trio settings.
